As we are enjoying the events planned for the club in 2008, our club is growing in size, knowledge and experience. We celebrate our many accomplishments and also see the need for fine tuning.  The board is putting the club's event planning, policies and procedures, and priorities on a dyno machine of sorts, to learn from our past and move forward as efficiently as possible.

The support from the membership in attending meetings, activities and events has been outstanding. It proves not only that you care but that you are having fun. My goal was always to provide a club where people could have fun and remove themselves from life’s troubles, thanks to you it's happened. You may ask yourself, if the board is working to refine the club's engine, sort of speak, then what can I as an individual member do to make a difference?  Each one of you can make sure the club stays on the right track by being part of a Membership Involvement Team. By that I mean; consider serving on committees, run for board positions at election time, take membership forms and fliers with you to give out at all events you attend, ask for automotive businesses in your area to be club sponsors, seek donations from auto related businesses for us to give out at club events and most importantly attend membership meetings to stay informed.

The Delco Cruisers is indeed an extremely successful club and you helped to make it happen. I am approached by organizations and private parties asking the club to provide cars for events (shows, parades, weddings). Requests come in from Delaware County and beyond! With your assistance, we will remain a first class, highly respected, FUN club.

In closing; Let's continue to have fun in 2008.  Much has been planned for you and we’re not done yet!
